Overview & Agreement

Effective Date:

This page provides an overview of the Wigiwork legal framework, including platform purpose, anonymity principles, consent-based identity access, user responsibilities, and governing terms of use.

1. Introduction & Agreement

1.1 About Wigiwork

Wigiwork Inc. ("Wigiwork", "we", "our", or "us") provides a privacy-first, anonymity-focused professional discovery platform that enables professionals to explore opportunities while giving verified employers structured, controlled access to talent.

The platform is designed around consent-based identity disclosure, where a user's identity is only revealed with their explicit approval through defined access workflows.

Wigiwork operates as a controlled-access professional discovery system and is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or employer. We do not employ candidates, represent candidates, or act as an intermediary in employment relationships.

Employers pay for access to candidate profiles, not ownership of candidate data. Access grants a limited right to review information for a specific hiring purpose and does not permit resale, redistribution, or external use beyond that purpose.

Wigiwork does not sell personal data to third parties. Any fees paid relate solely to platform access, features, and controlled interaction between users.

While Wigiwork is designed to protect user identity, anonymity depends on both platform controls and user behavior. Wigiwork cannot guarantee anonymity in cases where users voluntarily disclose information or where third parties act outside platform controls.

Wigiwork provides infrastructure for discovery and hiring workflows but does not control hiring decisions, negotiations, or employment outcomes between users.

1.2 Purpose of These Terms

These Terms explain the conditions under which Wigiwork may be used, including:

  • user responsibilities and obligations,
  • rules for anonymity and confidentiality,
  • employer and recruiter requirements,
  • data protection expectations,
  • rights granted to Wigiwork to operate automated systems,
  • restrictions designed to maintain platform safety and integrity.

These Terms protect candidates, employers, and the Wigiwork platform, and define how anonymity, access, and data use are controlled within the system.

1.3 Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms apply to:

  • Candidates using Wigiwork to explore job opportunities;
  • Employers and organizations using Wigiwork for recruitment;
  • Recruiters or agencies authorized to act on behalf of an employer.

"Company" refers to the legal entity that holds the employer account.

1.4 Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account or using Wigiwork, you confirm that:

  • you have read and agree to these Terms;
  • you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement;
  • all information you provide will be accurate and truthful;
  • you will use Wigiwork in compliance with all applicable laws.

If you do not agree, you must not use Wigiwork. Continued use of the platform confirms your acceptance of these Terms and all referenced policies.

Continued use of Wigiwork constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1.7 Regional Availability & Compliance

Wigiwork operates in multiple regions subject to legal and regulatory requirements.
Access may be restricted, limited, or modified in certain countries or regions due to sanctions, compliance obligations, fraud prevention, or risk controls. Wigiwork may determine user location and availability using system logic.

1.8 Communications

Wigiwork may contact users via email, SMS, push notifications (via candidate apps), or in-app messages for:

  • verification,
  • security alerts,
  • account notices,
  • system updates.

Essential communications cannot be disabled.

Users are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate. Wigiwork is not responsible for missed communications due to outdated or incorrect details.

1.9 Wigi AI Assistant (Private Container Memory)

The Wigi AI Assistant is provided to help users improve their profiles and interactions on the platform.

The Assistant operates in a private, isolated container tied only to each specific user, meaning:

  • it cannot access information from any other user;
  • it does not learn from or share data with others;
  • it does not train external or global models;
  • its memory is limited to that user's interactions and resets when needed.

AI-generated outputs are intended to assist users and do not constitute professional, legal, or hiring advice.

1.10 Platform Nature & Limitations

Wigiwork provides a platform for anonymous professional discovery and does not control or guarantee user behavior, interactions, or outcomes.

While Wigiwork is designed to protect identity and enforce controlled access, anonymity may be impacted in rare cases by user actions or external factors outside the platform's control.

Users are responsible for how they use the platform, including the information they share and the access they grant.
