WigiPic™ Terms & Use
What is WigiPic™?
WigiPic™ is Wigiwork's anonymous visual identity system. It replaces traditional profile photos with an assigned, non-identifying avatar — allowing you to explore opportunities without exposing your real identity.
WigiPics are:
- Unique to your profile while in use
- Designed for anonymity
- Symbolic and illustrative (not real photos)
They exist so your skills speak first — not your identity.
Can I use my WigiPic outside Wigiwork?
Yes — you're free to use your WigiPic for personal use anywhere. You can use it on:
- Social media
- Personal profiles
- CVs or portfolios
- Online communities
Think of it as a consistent anonymous identity you can use across platforms.
If you use the same WigiPic outside Wigiwork, especially on accounts, CVs, portfolios, or profiles connected to your real identity, it may become associated with you and reduce its anonymity value.
Wigiwork is not responsible for how WigiPics are used, interpreted, or shared outside the platform by you or by third parties, including any use, scraping, or training on WigiPic images by AI systems or services not controlled by Wigiwork.
What can't I use it for?
To protect the platform and all users, WigiPics cannot be used for:
- Business branding or company identity
- Advertising, marketing campaigns, or commercial products
- Impersonation or misleading representation
- Creating similar avatars, tools, or systems
- Training AI models or datasets
- Use in competing platforms or services
You also must not:
- Modify or recreate the WigiPic style
- Use it in a way that suggests official partnership with Wigiwork
Is my real identity linked to my WigiPic?
Your public WigiPic does not show your name, contact details, or other direct identity fields. Each WigiPic is attached to a Wigiwork profile as that account's anonymous visual avatar. It represents the profile inside Wigiwork, not your real-world identity, appearance, or personal characteristics.
WigiPics are stylized, symbolic illustrations — not likeness tools, identity tools, biometric tools, or personality assessments. They are not designed to reflect your real appearance, encode personal traits, reveal your direct identity publicly, or represent, rank, score, or make assumptions about gender, ethnicity, race, skin tone, age, disability, attractiveness, religion or philosophical belief, political opinion, sexual orientation, trade union membership, or any other protected or personal characteristic.
Custom WigiPics from Uploaded Photos
You can choose a WigiPic from our pre-created archive, or upload a photo to generate a custom WigiPic.
If you upload a photo, it is used only to generate your custom WigiPic. The original photo is not shown to other users, not used to identify you, not used to verify your identity, not used for facial recognition, not used to create biometric templates, and not used by Wigiwork to train AI models.
Uploaded photos are deleted from active production systems after generation, subject to limited temporary retention in backups, logs, security systems, vendor systems, or legal/compliance records where applicable.
Because a photo-based WigiPic is generated from an image you provide, it may resemble the general format, pose, or visual style of that image and may be less anonymous than an archive-selected WigiPic. If maximum anonymity is your priority, Wigiwork recommends choosing an archive WigiPic instead of uploading a photo.
Who owns the WigiPic?
You can use your WigiPic — but Wigiwork owns the WigiPic system, style, design language, and related assets. That means:
- You receive limited personal usage rights
- Wigiwork retains full intellectual property rights
- The design system, style, and assets remain protected
WigiPic usage does not grant any rights to reproduce, commercialize, train models on, copy, modify, or build derivative systems based on Wigiwork's visual identity.
What happens if I delete my WigiPic?
If you delete your WigiPic:
- It is removed from your active profile
- Residual copies are deleted or overwritten within our standard retention cycle, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance retention where applicable
- A new WigiPic may be generated or assigned if needed
Deleting a WigiPic does not give you exclusive rights over that image, style, or avatar concept. Wigiwork may reuse, recreate, reassign, or make available the same or similar WigiPic assets as part of its avatar system, provided they are not used to publicly identify you.
How WigiPic protects you
WigiPic is part of Wigiwork's privacy-first system:
- Your direct identity and contact details are not shown unless you approve access
- WigiPics are designed to reduce visual identification risk
- Your profile remains anonymous-facing during discovery based on your selected visibility level
- No avatar or anonymity system can prevent all recognition, inference, misuse, or cross-referencing
Important things to know
- WigiPics are for anonymity, not representation
- They should not be used to judge or infer identity
- Wigiwork does not control how third parties interpret images outside the platform
Misuse & enforcement
To protect all users, misuse of WigiPics may result in:
- Content removal
- Account restrictions
- Suspension or termination
- Legal action where applicable
Final note
WigiPic™ is designed to give you freedom without exposing your direct identity. You stay in control of when your identity is revealed through Wigiwork's approved access flow.
