This page explains Wigiwork's high-level intellectual-property and brand-protection position, permitted references to Wigiwork, restrictions on copying or external use, user-content ownership, and available enforcement measures.

1. Ownership and Authorized Use

Wigiwork and its licensors retain applicable rights in the Services, software, technology, systems, models, interfaces, workflows, designs, content, proprietary outputs, confidential know-how, and other protected platform elements.

Subject to the Terms, Wigiwork grants users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services through authorized platform workflows. No ownership interest or additional licence is granted unless expressly stated in an applicable agreement or policy.

User content, Company Data, open-source components, third-party materials, and third-party marks remain subject to the rights and terms applicable to them.

2. Brand and Trademark Rights

Wigiwork and its licensors retain applicable rights in Wigiwork names, marks, logos, icons, mascots, illustrations, visual identity, designs, and other brand assets.

Nothing on this page represents that a particular asset is registered, subject to a pending application, or protected in every jurisdiction unless Wigiwork expressly states otherwise.

Third-party names, marks, logos, badges, and materials remain subject to the rights and permissions of their respective owners. Their appearance through Wigiwork does not by itself imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

Permitted references to Wigiwork, visual-asset restrictions, and requests for brand-use permission are governed by the Trademarks & Brand Use Notice.

3. WigiPic™ and Wigi-DNA™

Wigiwork retains applicable intellectual-property rights in the WigiPic™ system, style, design language, and related assets.

Candidates receive only the limited personal-use rights described in the WigiPic™ Terms & Use. A WigiPic must not be copied, modified, commercialized, used for AI or dataset development, or incorporated into a competing product except where expressly permitted by those Terms, written authorization from Wigiwork, or applicable law.

Wigiwork may apply Wigi-DNA™ safeguards to eligible documents and images. Users must not remove, alter, obscure, bypass, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with those safeguards.

WigiPics and avatars are not protected by Wigi-DNA™.

4. Proprietary Technology and Platform Elements

Except where expressly permitted by applicable law, an applicable policy, or written authorization from Wigiwork, users must not:

  • copy, reproduce, extract, modify, adapt, decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or replicate protected technology or platform elements;
  • bypass access restrictions or attempt to discover non-public systems, logic, models, security controls, or confidential information;
  • mirror, frame, clone, or create a confusingly similar version of a Wigiwork website, application, interface, workflow, candidate card, or profile layout;
  • use Wigiwork technology, content, designs, outputs, or platform information to build or improve a competing product, service, dataset, model, directory, or profiling system;
  • remove or alter copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other proprietary-rights notices; or
  • commercially exploit protected Wigiwork materials outside authorized platform use.

These restrictions do not limit lawful security research conducted under the Security & Responsible Disclosure policy or another right that cannot lawfully be restricted.

5. Brand Use and Visual Identity

Users must not use Wigiwork names, marks, logos, icons, mascots, illustrations, designs, or other brand assets in a way that:

  • is misleading, confusing, or unauthorized;
  • impersonates Wigiwork or another person or organization;
  • falsely implies sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, affiliation, certification, or approval;
  • creates a confusingly similar domain, account, company, product, service, application, or visual identity; or
  • uses Wigiwork branding for an unauthorized commercial or competing purpose.

Nothing in this section restricts lawful nominative, descriptive, editorial, news, commentary, review, comparative, evidentiary, or legally required references to Wigiwork, provided the use is accurate and does not falsely imply an association with Wigiwork.

Detailed rules for logos, public references, visual assets, domains, and permission requests are set out in the Trademarks & Brand Use Notice.

6. User Content and Company Data

Users retain their rights in content they submit to Wigiwork. Employers retain their rights in Company Data they submit.

By submitting content, users grant Wigiwork a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, format, display, transmit, reproduce, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide, operate, secure, support, and enforce the Services;
  • apply the user's selected visibility, access, and sharing settings;
  • provide authorized matching, profile, communication, and workflow functions;
  • comply with applicable law and lawful requests; and
  • permit authorized service providers to process the content on Wigiwork's behalf.

This licence does not transfer ownership of user content to Wigiwork or authorize Wigiwork to sell it as a standalone data asset.

The licence also covers AI improvement described in the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable user settings, privacy rights and law. Operational AI processing, generated outputs and permitted improvement remain governed by the Terms of Service and applicable AI notices.

Users remain responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to submit and use their content through the Services.

Company Data ownership, permitted processing, retention, and employer responsibilities are described in Company Data & Employer Rules.

7. Feedback

Users may voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, comments, or other feedback about Wigiwork or the Services.

To the extent a user holds rights in that feedback, the user grants Wigiwork a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, develop, commercialize, and incorporate it into the Services or other Wigiwork products without restriction or compensation.

Users should not submit confidential or third-party proprietary information as feedback unless authorized to do so.

This section does not authorize Wigiwork to publicly identify the user or disclose personal data or confidential information contrary to applicable law or an applicable agreement.

8. Enforcement and Reporting

Wigiwork may take proportionate action where it reasonably believes that intellectual-property rights, confidential technology, brand assets, users, or platform integrity are threatened by infringement, copying, impersonation, unauthorized access, misleading use, or another violation of applicable terms or law.

Subject to applicable law, action may include requesting correction or removal, restricting content or access, suspending or terminating accounts, submitting appropriate platform or rights-holder complaints, preserving relevant records, sending legal notices, or seeking civil, injunctive, regulatory, or other available remedies.

To report suspected infringement, impersonation, unauthorized copying, or brand misuse, contact:

Reports should identify the material or conduct at issue, explain the basis for the concern, and provide contact information for follow-up. Wigiwork may request additional information reasonably necessary to review the report.

Nothing in this page limits any right or remedy available under an applicable agreement or applicable law.
