Job Posting Rules

Effective Date:

This page defines job posting rules on Wigiwork, including accuracy requirements, salary integrity standards, role transparency, recruiter obligations, posting restrictions, and enforcement actions.

Applies to Employers, Recruiters & Agencies

These Job Posting Rules ensure trust, accuracy, confidentiality, and fairness across the Wigiwork platform.

They supplement the Employer Account Rules, Terms of Service, and NDA & Confidentiality Notice.

1. Job Posting Accuracy Requirements

All job postings must be:

  • truthful
  • accurate
  • non-misleading
  • aligned with a genuine hiring need
  • updated when filled or changed

Outdated or inaccurate postings must be removed.

Wigiwork may review, edit, modify, or reject any job posting at its sole discretion to ensure compliance with platform rules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

2. Job Duration

Each job posting remains active for a fixed period of 30 days from the date of publication.

After this period, the job will automatically expire and be removed from active discovery.

Job postings are not extended automatically and do not support paid extensions or additional duration.

If the role remains open, a new job must be posted.

3. Real & Active Positions Only

You may only post roles that are:

  • real
  • currently open
  • actively hiring
  • tied to a verified employer client (if you are a recruiter)

Prohibited:

  • ghost jobs
  • placeholder / speculative roles
  • "evergreen" roles with no real hiring intent
  • data-harvesting roles
  • expired or closed positions

Wigiwork may require verification or supporting evidence to confirm that a role is genuine and actively hiring.

4. Salary Integrity & Honest Compensation

Employers must:

  • provide real, good-faith salary ranges
  • avoid artificial under-valuing of roles
  • keep ranges within reasonable boundaries
  • reflect the actual hiring budget

Wigiwork may:

  • reject misleading salary ranges
  • block unrealistic minimums
  • restrict excessively wide ranges
  • request clarification
  • remove posts violating salary integrity

Wigiwork does not disclose its internal salary-validation logic.

Wigiwork may adjust, normalize, or restrict salary inputs where required to maintain platform integrity and fair market alignment.

5. Job Modification & Version Control

Once a job is published, it enters active discovery and matching workflows. Candidates may view, interact with, or be matched to the job based on its original details.

To protect candidate trust, platform integrity, and matching accuracy, core job attributes may not be materially altered once a job is live.

Minor edits are permitted, including:

  • clarifying wording
  • correcting errors
  • updating non-structural details

However, changes to core job attributes — including salary, role scope, seniority, location, or key requirements — may be treated as a new job.

In such cases, Wigiwork may:

  • require the job to be reposted
  • create a new version of the role
  • maintain prior matches and interactions under the original version

Wigiwork retains full discretion in determining whether a change constitutes a minor edit or a material change requiring a new job.

6. Role Title & Seniority Accuracy

Job titles must reflect:

  • real seniority
  • true responsibilities
  • industry norms
  • actual expectations

Prohibited:

  • inflating seniority
  • disguising junior roles as senior roles
  • merging multiple roles into one misleading job
  • hiding mandatory duties (e.g., "DevOps" inside "Frontend Engineer")

7. Recruiter-Client Disclosure

Recruiters and agencies must:

  • disclose the employer client behind the job
  • assign each job to the correct employer in Wigiwork
  • act only for verified clients
  • avoid posting the same job under different brands

Anonymous postings are allowed publicly; however, the hiring company must always be disclosed to Wigiwork internally and verified as part of compliance requirements.

Use of false, proxy, or undisclosed company identities for job postings is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate enforcement action.

8. Location, Remote & Hybrid Rules

Roles must clearly state:

  • on-site / hybrid / remote requirements
  • true location expectations
  • any mandatory relocation or travel

Prohibited:

  • listing fully-remote when the job is on-site
  • hiding relocation requirements
  • misleading geographic targeting

Wigiwork may request verification of location claims.

9. Responsibilities & Requirements

Job descriptions must:

  • reflect the real workload
  • include accurate requirements
  • not mislead candidates about the role
  • clearly indicate expectations

Prohibited:

  • hiding critical responsibilities
  • combining multiple jobs into one to save budget
  • unrealistic "jack of all trades" expectations

10. Posting Behavior & Duplicate Restrictions

To maintain platform integrity:

  • Employers may not post the same job multiple times concurrently.
  • Employers may not post the same job under different brands.
  • Recruiters may not repost the same client role multiple times at once.
  • Duplicate listings are prohibited.

Wigiwork may:

  • remove duplicate roles
  • consolidate postings
  • block repeated attempts
  • require additional verification

Wigiwork may edit, merge, or remove job postings to maintain platform quality, prevent duplication, and ensure accurate representation of roles.

11. Reposting Rules & Abuse Prevention

Wigiwork allows reposting ONLY when:

  • a job has expired, or
  • the job was legitimately reopened, or
  • there is a valid hiring reason

Wigiwork may block, restrict, or deny reposting when:

  • a job is reposted too frequently
  • a job repeatedly receives 100+ shortlisted candidates with no hiring outcome
  • hiring activity appears suspicious
  • postings appear to be data-gathering, scraping, or farming
  • the role appears unrealistic or misleading
  • a company repeatedly claims "no hire" despite large volumes of shortlisted candidates

Wigiwork may require proof of genuine hiring need, including:

  • employment contracts (with sensitive data removed)
  • hiring manager confirmation
  • evidence that the role is real and actively hiring
  • confirmation that previous hires failed or left
  • compliance documentation

Wigiwork may:

  • deny further postings of the same role
  • suspend employer access
  • permanently restrict accounts engaging in posting abuse

This prevents scraping, data harvesting, and fake recruitment cycles.

Wigiwork may restrict, delay, or deny job postings where platform misuse, low-quality roles, or non-genuine hiring behavior is identified.

12. Job Posting Approval, Modification & Rejection

Wigiwork reserves the right to review, approve, reject, edit, modify, or remove any job posting at its sole discretion.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • correcting or standardizing job details
  • adjusting salary ranges or visibility
  • modifying job structure for consistency
  • removing incomplete, misleading, or low-quality postings
  • rejecting postings that do not meet platform standards

Wigiwork is not obligated to publish any job and may take action without prior notice where necessary to maintain platform integrity.

13. Confidentiality & NDA-Safe™ Compliance

Job postings must:

  • not disclose candidate information
  • not violate NDA-Safe™ regulations
  • not include identifying details about current employees
  • not include confidential business information without authorization

All activity on Wigiwork is covered under NDA-Safe™ obligations.

14. No External Data Harvesting or Talent Pool Building

Employers and recruiters may not:

  • export or store candidate data
  • scrape Wigiwork profiles
  • build external databases from Wigiwork
  • post jobs solely to collect resumes
  • repurpose candidate information for future roles
  • add candidates to long-term mailing lists or CRM systems

Violations result in immediate suspension.

15. Prohibited Posting Practices

Employers may not:

  • scrape job listings from other sites
  • repost scraped or AI-generated content
  • post roles without authorization
  • post discriminatory content
  • falsify job details or employer identity
  • misuse anonymity to deceive candidates
  • post roles for businesses located in prohibited jurisdictions
  • impersonate companies or brands

16. Wigi-DNA™ Protected Content

Documents or images served by Wigiwork may include Wigi-DNA™ markers.

Recruiters may NOT:

  • modify, crop, remove, or obscure Wigi-DNA™
  • upload or share protected content outside Wigiwork
  • circumvent detection or watermarking protections

Misuse will trigger an investigation and potential account removal.

17. Enforcement & Removal

Wigiwork may review, edit, remove job postings or suspend accounts for:

  • violating posting rules
  • misleading candidates
  • salary manipulation
  • posting duplicates
  • failing verification
  • recruiter-client misrepresentation
  • repeated reposting abuse
  • scraping, harvesting, or data misuse

Wigiwork may apply organization-wide bans for serious violations.

Wigiwork retains full discretion over job visibility, distribution, and eligibility within discovery systems and is not obligated to explain moderation or enforcement decisions.
